Rain - 2006

 

 
Rain clouds move in from the east in January 2006.
In the storm that followed, the Arebusch River
that flows through western Windhoek, flooded houses
in the communities of Acacia and Dolam.
85 mm of rain fell near Sossusvlei (17, 18 January 2006). These are pictures of Sossusvlei Lodge. The lodge has been cleaned up and is operational again. Photos by Anita Tschirpig, courtesy of Sossusvlei Lodge.
